Modicum

At the begninning of my time at Modicum, a design agency in Manhattan, the office was undergoing a transformation. The agency was growing, and with new branding and a fresh outlook, they moved into a new office space. I had an idea to design posters, and we went for it. We wanted to create something that would not only be a decorative element for the newly painted walls, but could serve as motivation for all the creatives in the office.

We upheld design principles, broke client stereotypes and promoted creativity using subtle, informal copy and simple illustrations. After the posters were up, friend and colleague Jeff Gess and I created animated GIFs to complement them, used on social and in blog agency blog posts.
