Poster design for a creative agency
Creative Direction, Copywriting, Print
At the begninning of my time at Propoint, a design agency in Manhattan, the office was undergoing a transformation. The agency was growing, and with new branding and a fresh outlook, they moved into a new office space too—and along with it came the blank canvas that was the walls around us. I had an idea to design posters, and we went for it.
We wanted to create something that would not only be a decorative element for the newly painted walls, but could serve as motivation for all the creatives in the office. We upheld design principles, broke client stereotypes and promoted creativity using subtle, informal copy and simple illustrations.
After the posters were up, friend and colleague Jeff Gess and I came up with a plan to create animated GIFs to complement them. These were meant for a blog post that further exemplified the principles described in the posters.
